Islamic Hospital

Established in 1982 in Amman, the Islamic Hospital is located in a vibrant and well-served area and features 223 beds. It is recognized as one of the largest private hospitals in Jordan and has been among the country’s first teaching hospitals since 1987. The hospital is staffed by multilingual professionals who communicate in Arabic, English, French, Turkish, German, Russian, and sign language, ensuring accessible and inclusive care for diverse patients.

The hospital is distinguished by several pioneering achievements in Jordan’s healthcare sector. It is the first and only hospital in the country to operate a fully automated laboratory system, delivering faster, more accurate, and higher-quality results while minimizing human error. The facility also uses a capsule system for efficient sample transport and operates its own blood bank. Expanding its reach, it is the only hospital in Jordan with a second branch in Aqaba. Additionally, it is the first hospital in Jordan to receive Canadian accreditation for quality and patient safety and serves as an accredited training center by the American Heart Association (AHA).

Committed to innovation and patient-centered care, the hospital practices gender-sensitive healthcare services to ensure privacy and comfort. It also demonstrates environmental responsibility as the first Jordanian hospital to establish a solar energy project spanning 100 dunams of land. The Emergency Department operates around the clock, offering comprehensive medical services, including gynecology and obstetrics, ophthalmology, and dental care. Furthermore, the hospital has achieved significant medical milestones, being the first private hospital in Jordan to successfully perform kidney transplants and open-heart surgeries.
